RGUHS Transcript FAQs

Forty detailed, honest answers to the questions RGUHS graduates ask us most — covering transcripts, credential agencies, verification, attestation, documents, payments and delivery. If your question isn't here, our team is one message away.

Getting an official transcript from a large public university like Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences can feel opaque, especially when you are managing it from another country while a credential deadline ticks away. This page gathers the most useful questions we field from doctors, nurses, dentists, pharmacists and physiotherapists, and answers each one plainly. Where processes genuinely vary — as timelines, fees and agency rules often do — we say so rather than inventing certainty. For a walkthrough of the service itself, see our RGUHS transcript service and about RGUHS pages, and when you are ready, our contact page is the quickest way to get a tailored quote.

Section 1

About RGUHS Transcripts

The basics: what a transcript is, what it contains, and how it differs from your mark sheets and degree certificate.

An RGUHS transcript is an official academic record issued by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences that sets out the subjects you studied, the marks or grades you earned, and the credits or class awarded across your programme. It is printed on university stationery, signed by the competent authority and stamped with the official seal. Credential evaluators treat it as the primary proof of your education.

A transcript is independent, university-issued proof of what you studied and how you performed. Overseas regulators, immigration authorities and universities cannot simply take your word for it, so they ask for a sealed transcript to confirm your qualification is genuine. For doctors, nurses, dentists, pharmacists and physiotherapists moving abroad, it is the foundation document on which licensing, registration and visa decisions are built.

A complete transcript typically consolidates every year or semester of your programme, listing each subject, the maximum and obtained marks, credits where applicable, and the resulting grade or class. It also carries your name, registration number, college, programme and year of passing. It is authenticated with the signature of the competent authority and the university seal so that an external body can rely on it.

No. Mark sheets record results for individual years or semesters, and the degree certificate confirms the qualification was awarded. A transcript is a single consolidated academic statement that brings your full results together in the format credential agencies expect. Most evaluators specifically request a transcript rather than loose mark sheets, though they often ask you to submit the degree certificate alongside it.

RGUHS does not combine your records into one newly created document. Instead, it verifies your original year- or semester-wise mark sheets and degree certificate, stamps each with the official university seal, and seals the full set inside a university envelope — this attested set is what most agencies, including WES and CGFNS, accept as your transcript. If an agency specifically wants everything summarised on a single page, that is a separate document called a Consolidated Mark Sheet, which we arrange only on request. We confirm the exact structure your destination agency wants before the request is placed with the university.

Most transcripts are issued on paper and placed inside a sealed university envelope with the seal crossing the flap, which keeps the document tamper-evident. Where the university supports electronic transcripts, digital delivery to an agency may also be possible. The correct format depends on your destination body, and we confirm which one applies to your case before dispatch.

Process & Timelines

How to apply, how long it takes, whether you need to travel, and what keeps a file moving.

Start by telling us your programme, college, passing year and the agency or destination you are applying to. We confirm exactly which documents are required and send a clear quote and timeline. Once you approve and complete a simple authorisation, we prepare the university forms, arrange the official fee and submit your request, then follow up until the sealed transcript is delivered.

Timelines vary with the university's current workload, examination seasons and verification cycles, so we never quote an unrealistic number of days. In most cases, files we manage complete within a few weeks. When you submit your documents we give an honest estimate for your specific programme, and we keep your file moving with consistent follow-up rather than letting it sit in a queue.

No. The entire process can be handled remotely. We act as your representative for the paperwork, follow-up and fee payment, so you do not need to fly to Bengaluru or visit the university yourself. This is especially helpful for graduates already working clinical shifts abroad who cannot take time off to manage university formalities in person.

Yes. We work with RGUHS graduates in more than a hundred countries, and most communicate with us entirely over email and WhatsApp. You send scanned documents and a signed authorisation, we manage everything at the university end, and the sealed transcript is couriered to you or sent directly to your agency. Time-zone differences are never a barrier to getting your file done.

Yes. We give you a single point of contact and update you at each milestone — submission, university processing, issuance and dispatch. You will never be left guessing where your file stands. If the university raises a query or needs an additional document, we flag it to you immediately so it can be resolved without losing time on your application.

Common causes of delay include requesting the wrong document, incomplete authorisation, missing university seals, name or registration mismatches, and overlooking agency-specific rules. Our checklists are built around exactly these failure points. By confirming requirements up front, preparing complete paperwork and following each agency's dispatch rules, we help files clear on the first attempt rather than bouncing back for correction.

Credential Agencies

WES, IQAS, ICES, CES, CGFNS, EPIC, PEBC and DataFlow — what each one is and what RGUHS graduates need for it.

World Education Services (WES) is a designated credential evaluation organisation used widely for Canadian and US immigration and study. It compares your RGUHS qualification to local standards and issues an Educational Credential Assessment. WES generally requires the transcript to be sent directly by the issuing institution in a sealed format, which is why correct dispatch matters. See our WES page for details.

All three are Canadian credential evaluators. IQAS is the International Qualifications Assessment Service based in Alberta, ICES is the International Credential Evaluation Service in British Columbia, and CES is the Comparative Education Service at the University of Toronto. Which one suits you depends on your province and purpose. Each has its own document rules, and we prepare your RGUHS transcript to match the one you choose.

Yes. We arrange for sealed RGUHS transcripts to be dispatched in line with each agency's requirements, including direct-from-institution courier and, where the university supports it, electronic submission. Agencies such as WES, IQAS, ICES and CES usually insist the transcript arrive directly from the university, and we follow those rules precisely so your evaluation is not delayed.

The Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools (CGFNS) supports internationally educated nurses seeking to work in the United States, through services such as its Credentials Evaluation Service and VisaScreen. RGUHS nurses typically need sealed transcripts and, in many cases, course content and clinical-hours documentation sent from the university. Our CGFNS page explains the nursing pathway in more detail.

EPIC is the ECFMG's Electronic Portfolio of International Credentials, used to verify physicians' medical qualifications at source for use in the United States and elsewhere. RGUHS medical graduates upload their credentials and the university confirms their authenticity directly to ECFMG. We help prepare and route the documents the platform requires. Visit our EPIC page for a fuller explanation.

The Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC) handles the evaluation and certification of pharmacists seeking to practise in Canada. RGUHS pharmacy graduates generally need verified academic records and, frequently, detailed course descriptions submitted according to PEBC's rules. Requirements can vary by document and pathway, so we confirm the current expectations for your case. See our PEBC page for more.

DataFlow conducts primary-source verification, meaning it confirms your documents directly with the issuing institution on behalf of Gulf healthcare regulators. These include the DHA in Dubai, DOH (formerly HAAD) in Abu Dhabi, the MOH, the SCFHS in Saudi Arabia and the QCHP in Qatar. RGUHS graduates usually need transcripts and consent forms prepared correctly. Our DataFlow page has a full checklist.

Yes. Beyond the major evaluators, we regularly support submissions to ECE, the NMC and HCPC in the UK, AHPRA in Australia, NZQA in New Zealand, ECCTIS (UK ENIC), the MCC in Canada, NASBA and NCEES. If your regulator is not shown, simply tell us who they are and we will confirm the exact RGUHS documents they require and how they must be sent.
Section 4

Verification & Attestation

Degree verification, apostille versus attestation, MEA legalisation, the MOI certificate and correct sequencing.

Degree verification is the process by which the university confirms, in response to a formal query, that a particular degree or transcript is genuine. It is initiated by employers, immigration authorities, universities and agencies such as DataFlow. It differs from simply obtaining a transcript because it is the university responding to a third-party check. Our degree verification page explains how we support these requests.

Both legalise a document for use abroad, but they apply to different destinations. An apostille is a standardised certificate accepted by countries party to the Hague Convention, issued in India by the Ministry of External Affairs. Attestation is the broader process, often adding embassy or Ministry of Foreign Affairs steps for non-Hague countries such as the Gulf states. We confirm which route your destination requires.

It depends on your destination and the body requesting the documents. Some evaluators only need a sealed transcript sent directly from the university, while others — particularly for employment or immigration in certain countries — require MEA apostille or embassy attestation on your degree and supporting documents. We assess your specific case and sequence any attestation correctly. See our document attestation page for details.

A Medium of Instruction certificate confirms that your programme was taught and examined in English. Many regulators and universities accept it as evidence of English-medium education, which can support registration or admission requirements. RGUHS graduates often need an MOI letter alongside their transcript. We can arrange it together with your other documents — see our medium of instruction page for more information.

Sequence matters, and getting it wrong can force a document to be re-issued. In some cases a document must be verified before it is attested; in others attestation comes first. Because we handle transcripts, verification and attestation together, we plan the correct order for your specific requirement from the start, avoiding the costly mistake of attesting a document that later has to be replaced.
Section 5

Documents & Eligibility

What to gather, what to do about lost originals or name mismatches, and support for old and recent batches.

Most requests begin with your full name as printed on your degree, your RGUHS registration or roll number, your programme and college, your year of passing, copies of your mark sheets and degree or provisional certificate, and a copy of your passport for identity. Knowing your target credential agency also helps. If anything is missing, we will guide you on how to proceed.

This is a common situation and usually solvable. Depending on the circumstances, we can help you apply for duplicate mark sheets or a duplicate degree certificate from the university, and then proceed with your transcript. Losing originals does not necessarily stop your application — it simply adds a step. Our duplicate degree page explains how reissued documents are obtained.

Yes. Name mismatches between your passport, mark sheets and degree — a middle name here, an initial there — are one of the most common reasons applications get queried. We flag inconsistencies early and advise on how to document or correct them so that your transcript, passport and agency records align. Addressing this at the start prevents rejections later in the process.

Yes, subject to your results being finalised by the university. Recent graduates frequently need transcripts for higher studies or early licensing steps, and final-year students often begin preparing supporting documents such as a Medium of Instruction letter in advance. We advise on what can be arranged now and what must wait until your final results and degree are formally issued.

Yes. We regularly assist graduates from earlier RGUHS batches. Older records may take additional time to locate within the university's archives, and occasionally require reconstructing missing documents, but this is well-trodden ground for us. Whether you graduated recently or many years ago, we will confirm what is achievable for your batch and manage the request accordingly.

Working with RGUHS Transcript Bangalore

Who we are, why graduates choose us, how we protect your data, and the programmes we support.

No. RGUHS Transcript Bangalore is an independent professional service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an agent of RGUHS or any credential evaluation agency such as WES, CGFNS or DataFlow. Transcripts are always issued and sealed solely by the university. Our role is to manage the paperwork, follow-up and logistics on your behalf as your representative.

You can apply yourself, but from abroad the process can be slow and error-prone — forms get returned, seals are missed and agency rules change. Because we handle RGUHS documentation every day, we know what each academic section expects and how each agency wants the transcript delivered. That experience reduces rejections, saves you time, and lets you focus on your career rather than paperwork.

Academic and identity documents are sensitive, and we treat them that way. We share them only with the university and the agency you have authorised, use secure channels for digital transfers, and maintain strict confidentiality throughout. You always know who is handling your file. Protecting your records is central to how we work, not an afterthought bolted onto the service.

We support the full range of RGUHS programmes: MBBS, MD, MS, DM and MCh for doctors; BDS and MDS for dentists; GNM, B.Sc, P.B.B.Sc and M.Sc Nursing; B.Pharm, Pharm.D and M.Pharm; BPT and MPT for physiotherapists; and AYUSH and allied-health courses such as BAMS, BHMS and BNYS. Whatever your discipline, we tailor the documentation to your destination agency.

The fastest way to reach us is WhatsApp or phone on +91 849-5000-033, or email at support@factstranscript.com. You can also send your details through our contact page and we will respond with a quote and clear next steps. Our head office is in Bengaluru, and we are available Monday to Saturday during Indian business hours to help graduates in every time zone.
Section 7

Payments & Delivery

Costs, payment options, how sealed transcripts reach you or your agency, and what happens if there's a query.

Total cost depends on the documents required, the number of copies, the destination agency and any courier or attestation needs, so we provide a transparent quote for your specific case rather than a flat figure. Our quotes clearly separate the university's official fees from our professional service charge and any delivery costs, so there are no surprises later in the process.

We offer convenient payment options suitable for clients both in India and abroad. Because arrangements can vary depending on your location and requirement, we confirm the available methods when we send your quote. Whichever option you use, you will receive a clear breakdown of what you are paying for before any work begins, so everything stays transparent from the outset.

Delivery is arranged to suit your requirement. We can courier the sealed transcript to you unopened, forward it directly to your credential agency in the sealed condition they require, or — where the university offers electronic transcripts — support digital submission. Because many agencies only accept transcripts that arrive directly and sealed, we always match delivery to your destination body's exact rules.

Yes. Many clients need copies sent to more than one place — for example, one to a credential evaluator and another retained for a licensing body or employer. We can arrange multiple sealed copies and coordinate dispatch to different agencies or countries within a single request, giving you one consolidated plan and one point of contact for the whole exercise.

Rejections are uncommon when a file is prepared correctly, because our checklists are built around the exact reasons agencies push documents back. If an issue does arise, we work with you to understand the agency's feedback, correct the problem and resubmit. Our aim is always to get the transcript accepted the first time, but we stand by your file until your requirement is met.
