Documents to keep ready

Requirements vary with the request, but most transcript applications need the following. Our full documents required guide goes into more detail.

  1. The completed Registrar (Evaluation) application form, signed.
  2. Attested photocopies of the marks cards for every year of your course, including any repeat attempts.
  3. The online payment receipt with its transaction reference.
  4. Your degree or provisional degree certificate copy, if the agency requires it alongside the transcript.
  5. Passport or other photo ID, and an authorisation letter if a representative is applying for you.
  6. The credential agency's own request form or reference number (for example from WES, IQAS or PEBC), if your transcript must be sent to them.

The procedure, start to finish

1. Check your marks cards first

Any name error, missing marks card or withheld remark must be fixed before a transcript or consolidated marks card can be issued. These are handled on the same form; see marks card requests.

2. Fill the form carefully

Write your name exactly as on your marks cards, with your university registration number, course, college and year of passing. Tick only the services you are requesting, and state the number of transcript copies.

3. Pay the fee online

Pay through the official RGUHS gateway and print the receipt. Our transcript fee payment guide explains how to avoid wrong-head and duplicate payments.

4. Get attestation where required

Copies of marks cards normally need to be attested. Some requests are routed through your college principal; the form indicates where this applies.

5. Submit and follow up

Submit the application to RGUHS in Bengaluru. Keep the acknowledgement. Follow-up is often needed during busy examination periods; see our processing time guide.

6. Sealed dispatch or collection

If an agency requires a sealed transcript sent directly, arrange this at the application stage rather than afterwards.

Applying from outside Bengaluru or abroad

Most RGUHS graduates who need a transcript are already working in another city or country. In that case a representative can apply with your authorisation. We act as that representative: we prepare the form, arrange the official fee payment, submit in Bengaluru, follow up, and send the sealed transcript to you or your agency.

Don't want to deal with fee heads, forms and follow-ups?

Tell us your course, college, year of passing and what you need (transcript, consolidated or duplicate marks card, degree certificate, or delivery to WES, CGFNS, DataFlow or another agency). We will confirm the exact documents, prepare the RGUHS application, arrange the official fee payment on your behalf and follow up with the university until your documents are issued.
