Documents Required for RGUHS Services

A single reference for exactly what to gather before you apply, whichever RGUHS service you need. Having these ready before your first message is the fastest way to avoid delay.

Why documentation accuracy matters

Almost every delay we see traces back to the same cause: a missing mark sheet, a name that does not match across documents, or a detail submitted to the wrong service. RGUHS, like any university, processes exactly what is on the application in front of it — so getting the paperwork right before submission is the single biggest lever you have over your own timeline.

The checklist below covers what is typically needed for each of our core services. Your specific case may need slightly more or less depending on your college, batch and destination, which we confirm with you before starting.

Common Mistakes

What causes avoidable delay

  • Name spelled differently across documents (degree, passport, marriage certificate)
  • Missing mark sheets for one or two semesters, discovered only after submission
  • Unclear or partial photographs of documents that RGUHS cannot read
  • Submitting to the wrong destination agency or address
  • Not mentioning a legal name change or additional required document upfront

Documents FAQs

Documents Required — Questions Answered

This is common, especially for older graduates. Tell us which mark sheets are missing and we will advise on how RGUHS can help reconstruct or reissue the record before we submit your application.

Generally no. For most services we work from clear photographs or scans of your original documents to prepare the university application. We will tell you specifically if a notarised or attested copy is needed for your particular case.

Your application should reflect the name exactly as it appears on your RGUHS certificates. If your current legal name differs, most agencies also want a copy of your marriage certificate, gazette notification or other legal name-change document alongside your transcript.

Your RGUHS certificates are issued in English, so this is not usually an issue for the transcript itself. If a supporting document such as a birth certificate is in a regional language, some destination agencies request an official translation, which we can advise on.
