RGUHS Transcript for Doctors
MBBS, MD and MS graduates of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences move through several different credential pathways depending on where they are headed — ECFMG/EPIC for the US, GMC UK, AMC for Australia, DataFlow for the Gulf, or WES for Canada. We obtain your sealed RGUHS transcript and route it correctly for whichever pathway applies to you.
Why doctors need a verified RGUHS transcript
Almost every international step a doctor takes — sitting a licensing exam, registering with a medical council, or applying for permanent residency as a skilled migrant — starts with proving that your MBBS, MD or MS is genuine and was awarded by a recognised university. RGUHS is the awarding body for a large number of medical, dental and allied health colleges across Karnataka, and the credential bodies overseas will only accept transcripts and mark sheets that arrive sealed, directly from the university or its authorised agent.
Because doctors are evaluated by several different organisations depending on destination, the paperwork is rarely a single, simple request. Our role is to identify exactly which body needs your records, prepare the RGUHS application correctly the first time, and manage direct dispatch so the seal is never broken in transit.
Which credential pathway applies to you
The right process depends on where you are headed and what you are registering for.
United States — ECFMG / EPIC
Doctors seeking US residency or licensure typically certify through ECFMG using the EPIC platform, which requires medical school credentials sent directly by RGUHS. See our EPIC page for the full process.
United Kingdom — GMC
Doctors registering with the General Medical Council need primary source verification of their medical degree, which we arrange directly with RGUHS on your behalf.
Australia — AMC

What doctors need to get started
Physician cases carry a little more documentation than a typical transcript request, because most credential bodies want to see your full training history, not only the degree.
- Your full name exactly as printed on your RGUHS MBBS/MD/MS certificate
- RGUHS registration or roll number and the name of your medical college
- Programme and year of passing (for example MBBS 2018, MD 2021)
- Copies of all mark sheets and your degree or provisional certificate
- Proof of completed compulsory rotating internship, where required
- A copy of your passport photo page for identity matching
- Your reference or application ID with the destination agency (EPIC, GMC, AMC, DataFlow or WES)
- Your destination and purpose — licensing exam, registration, or immigration
Postgraduate qualifications
If you hold an MD or MS in addition to your MBBS, most agencies want both verified together. We coordinate a single RGUHS request covering your full academic record so the timeline for postgraduate doctors does not run longer than necessary.
Where a credential body also asks for internship or residency certificates issued by your teaching hospital rather than RGUHS, we can advise on the separate process for those documents.
How we get your RGUHS transcript to the right credential body

1. Tell us your destination and agency
Share your programme, passing year, college and destination, along with your reference number for EPIC, GMC, AMC, DataFlow or WES if you already have one.

2. We prepare the RGUHS application
We complete the university transcript application and authorisation on your behalf, including internship documentation where relevant.

3. RGUHS issues and seals your records
The university verifies and seals your mark sheets and degree certificate under its official process.

4. Direct dispatch to your credential body
The sealed transcript is sent to EPIC, GMC, AMC, DataFlow or WES as required, satisfying the direct-from-university rule each of these bodies applies.

We confirm dispatch with you and stay available if the receiving body raises any query about your file.
